His Mountain, His Devotion

Returning to Blackwater Peaks seemed like a good idea, until I ran into the quiet mountain man who was supposed to be a one-time mistake.
Now, I'm stranded with the man I walked away from months ago. Wyatt Jones is all broad shoulders, deep blue eyes, and silence that says way too much. And if the way he looks at me is any clue, he hasn't forgotten how I left.
He doesn't do temporary. I don't put down roots.
But the longer we're stuck out here, the more I wonder if walking away was my biggest mistake.
